Each of these hybrids delivered impressive performance, practicality, and forgiveness. Whether you’re a low handicapper or a mid-level player, these clubs are worth checking out.

What I Learned After Testing All These Hybrids
As you can see, 2022 brought many strong contenders to the hybrid category.
While each model has its own strengths, I found many to share similar qualities in feel and performance.
That said, several models felt more like refinements of their previous versions rather than dramatic upgrades.
However, this also suggests that past versions were already excellent. Many 2022 models carried over proven features, which made them reliable—but didn’t feel particularly innovative.
After careful testing, I concluded that no single model clearly stood out as the MVP.
Why?
Because the level of performance across the board was simply too high to declare just one winner.
In short: all of them were great.
A Personal Note on Hybrid Design
One trend I’ve noticed is that iron-style hybrids are becoming less common.
That’s why I really appreciated the SRIXON ZX Mk II Hybrid. It has an iron-like appearance, feel, and playability, offering excellent control and feedback.
Personally, I hope more manufacturers bring back this iron-inspired hybrid design in future releases.
